A few weeks ago, Austin Woman Magazine hosted their quarterly launch party for their newest issues. They had a variety of vendors, food options, bar, and networking opportunities. Attendees enjoyed listening to a panel of two cover girl, entrepreneurs – Packed Party Founder, Jordan Jones & World Class Holdings CEO, Sheena Paul. They discussed business challenges and shared success stories, and it was no less than inspiring.
My favorite vendor featured at the launch party was On The Dot Woman. Their message is simple,”Empowered Women, Empower Women,” they do just that through a virtual community of entrepreneurial women, stories, and inspiration – delivered right to your inbox each morning. I’ve really enjoyed getting their inspo daily, and each day’s quote empowers me to meet each day with motivation and drive. Here are a few examples…
…every morning, you took just 4 minutes to hear a story about an incredible woman who has stepped off the cliff and is making it happen? How would your mindset change if those relatable role models were part of your morning routine–every morning? How would the larger conversation about the advancement of women change if we all took a little step because we saw someone like us do it first? On The Dot is your beacon of light, shining its beam on the impact, action, struggle and success of women around the globe. If you can’t BE what you can’t SEE, take off the blinders and join our movement.
The best part about this company is that it’s all free! Who doesn’t love free business advice, inspiration, and motivation to conquer their goals!? If you want to sign up for their emails, like I did, you can go here.
Here are a few examples of their content:
Oh! I almost forgot! Something really cool about the daily email is that it is AUDIBLE, which means you can multitask, drink coffee, or workout while listening to your morning inspo… SCORE!
Another perk of attending this event was getting to take my dear friend Jade Nelson along with me. We met some great ladies that are living their dreams by achieving their professionals goals or starting a new business. Women from all walks of life and various ages – It was inspiring. Of course there was a photo station, so we had to add a little silliness to the seriousness.
I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for the next Austin Women Magazine event… I am so excited to live in a city that empowers and elevates women entrepreneurs.
